Before & After School Program:
PRIMARY SCHOOL-AGED
BEFORE SCHOOL CARE
Before sending the children off to respective public schools, they are served a well-balanced breakfast and ease into their day with the support of nurturing teachers.
AFTER SCHOOL CARE
Upon their return, primary aged children are served a nutritious snack as they unwind from their academic day. After snack, children transition to our gym for active play and group games (four square, basketball, etc.).
After participating in large muscle activities, they settle down to complete their homework or read during quiet time. When quiet time is completed, children make use of centers of interest that children enjoy until families pick up.
DAYS OFF SCHOOL
On days off of school, the primary school-aged children enjoy a fun day of large motor activities, center-based play and adventure, and nutritious meals. Our home like atmosphere allows the children a break from the rigid demands of public school and enjoy time with their friends.
HOLIDAY BREAKS
Over extended holiday breaks, our primary school-aged class enjoys learning about celebrations from around the world through thematic units. Immersing in global cultures teaches diversity and respect of all people, even if they celebrate differently. They also enjoy large motor activities and social time with friends.
